Hi! I'm Andrea Carhuavilca
Design: Systems / Level Design / Narrative Gameplay
I’m a game designer based in New York with more than five years of experience working in Unreal Engine and Unity. I focus on level design and technical implementation, creating gameplay spaces and interactive systems that support exploration, encounters, and player progression.
At Loric Games and Treehouse Games, I contributed to Echoes of Elysium and Voyagers of Nera. My work included dungeon and exploration-space design, cooperative combat encounters, procedural island generation, and quest implementation.
I work hands-on in-engine using Blueprints and C#, taking features from an initial idea through implementation, testing, and iteration. I collaborate with engineers, artists, and QA to translate design intent into playable experiences.
I’m currently contributing gameplay design and implementation to a mobile game in Unity, including player interactions, progression, and touch-based UI.
I hold an MS in Interactive Media and Game Design from Lindenwood University and am fluent in Spanish. I’m open to relocation within the United States or internationally with visa sponsorship.
Outside game development, I have a background in violin performance and a very large plushie collection!
